The MEDiMAT AirFlow anti-decubitus mat by Bowi is a class I medical device compliant with the European Parliament Regulation and the Medical Devices Act. Thanks to the 3D spacer fabric, it improves the comfort of rest, reduces point pressure, relieves tissues and ensures free air flow. Additionally enriched with silver ions, it has bacteriostatic and anti-allergicproperties.

Knitted spacer fabric (also called 3D or knitted mesh) is an innovative product that provides high air permeability and minimal water and moisture absorption.
The products, which have been made from knitted spacer fabric are very easy to keep clean. The disinfection or sterilization is also much easier. Moreover, a layer of a knitted spacer fabric minimizes the development of mites and bacteria.
